We all have had our fair share of busted, dead and overheating of our PS3s and it sucks. But we learn how to prevent thing like that from happening again,( few hope we did) anyway like I said we had it happen to me "TWO TIMES" and both time sucked. Me and a friend of mind we try to fix it but with no success. And once you try fixing your PS3 it void the warranty, lucky it die after the warranty ended so it didn't really matter. How ever I learn a thing or two or at least five ideals to keep it from dieing and to keep it in good shape. Cause we can't always buy a new one their still expensive. So here are my top 5 way of caring your PlayStation 3.
#1: Keep it away from humidifiers.
The problem with this is that if your like me you have bad sinuses but if some moister get in your ps3 it will be short curate and stop working.
#2: Try to keep dust from getting in.
This is another hard one if you have a dusty room. its can be done though. You just going to have to dusted your room at least once if not maybe twice a month.
#3: Keep your system cool at all times.
This isn't as hard as you think. Here what I learned, first off you don't need toughs system cooling stuff that says will keep it cool. If you play you PS3 all hours of the day it wont work and it stops working or it brakes and starts make loud noise. But back to what I was saying their is a way to keep it cool. One is to find a small fan to put next to it. This sounds stupid but it works well. The second is probable that most stupid one but is very effective, its to have a laptop cooling system underneath it. If you have one use it on your PS3. I tested this by borrowing one from a friend and it works.
#4: DON'T LEAVE IT ON WHEN YOUR NOT USING IT!!!!

#5: It be a good ideal to have a backup file.
If it ends up dead( which we hope not) it be a good ideal to back it up on your hardrive or something to keep it safe.
